In the heart of a bustling household in San Diego, California, Alli Kaye, stay at home mom of 3 (soon to be 4) decided to turn her passion for natural skincare into something that could benefit others. Inspired by the desire to provide her family with safe, nourishing products, she started small by making her own tallow bar soap with the help of her mother-in-law. After seeing all that tallow has to offer, specifically for one of her son’s skin issues, she dove head first into creating her own natural skincare line. Fine & Dandy focuses on the healing properties of grass-fed beef tallow. Each jar is crafted with care handmade, small batch and blends tradition with modern sensibilities, ensuring that her children—and now you—benefit from the wholesome goodness of God’s creation.

With a deep understanding of the process, Alli meticulously takes each step very seriously, from sourcing grass-fed livestock to rendering high-quality tallow. Every ingredient added to each product is thoroughly researched and every recipe is created with excellence in mind.

The ingredients matter!

Pure Cold Pressed Essential Oils

When using essential oils in our products we make sure that they are high quality and actually beneficial to your skin. We are just interested in adding fragrance, we desire the essential oil properties to add to what you are putting on your skin.

100% Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Hand Rendered Tallow

Tallow has been used for thousands of years to prepare food, but also in cosmetics. Early soaps were made in Babylon almost 5000 years ago from beef tallow and ash. Tallow, rendered suet from a cow, offers a range of benefits that make it a valuable addition to both culinary and skincare practices. In skincare, tallow's natural composition closely resembles the lipids found in human skin, allowing for effective absorption and moisturizing properties. Our tallow is purchased from a farm in Northern San Diego and prioritizes the production of high quality Grass-Fed beef.
